The first step is to realise that the anxiety symptoms are just sensations, sensations of fear. They feel like a real fear, but they are not.

Then you change your ATTITUDE toward these sensations. Give them a new meaning. See them for what they really are.

They are a trick

a con

a bluff

a false alarm

Do not buy into these sensations and believe that they are real.

You can change your attitude by reminding and telling yourself this repeatedly.

If you do this you will diminish your fear of the sensations and end the cycle of anxiety.
